PRISM

Capture the beauty of a rainbow with PRISM!
PRISM is EPDM rubber and cork flooring for athletic and multi-purpose use. Their bright, bold colors, will add fun and a sense of whimsy to any space!

Similar to our EARTH collection, the benefits include softness underfoot, slip resistance, and acoustic dampening. These are ideal for installation in fitness facilities, kid’s areas, basements, healthcare facilities, retail, and various other places of hospitality. Available in either interlocking or square cut tiles, PRISM comes in different thicknesses to suit any space. Please note, 4 mm is the minimum.

We are also excited to announce that PRISM is available with our BRAND NEW TWO-STEP BACKING!

This new backing system takes the color of your choice, and factory laminates it to a SBR (recycled rubber) backing, and then water jet cuts it to form pristine square edges. This process allows you to have the flooring thickness you want while keeping to your budget. For example, if you needed an 8 mm thick floor, you could use a thin layer (4 mm) of EPDM and add a TWO-STEP backing of 4mm recycled rubber. This will not only be more cost effective than an 8 mm homogeneous floor all made of EPDM, but TWO-STEP can also save on adhesive and installation costs. Different thicknesses can be discussed with your SIF rep to determine what the right combination for your project is. Give us a call to see how this process can make a difference for your next project!

Please note: The PRISM Series is composed of 100% EPDM rubber in solid and near solid colors. Due to natural characteristics of the rubber, some tiles may vary in color. This includes, but is not limited to: shading from tile to tile; shading within individual tiles; a framing effect in which darker pigments will form around the border of the tile. Although these are not considered to be defects, in order to combat these natural occurrences, Summit International Flooring recommends dry laying the tiles before installation. If any tiles show more shading or framing than others, it is suggested that these tiles are placed under furniture or against walls where they are likely to be cut.
